T

he Garuda Indonesia Pilot Association (APG) and Garuda Labor Union (Sekarga) declared that they will work during the Idul Fitri holiday and delay their plan to strike.

Sekarga head Ahmad Irfan Nasution said, as quoted by kompas.com, the representative of the labor union would inform the public about the exact time of the strike seven days prior to the event.

The APG and Sekarga threatened to strike unless the government steps in and help solve "managerial problems" at the country's flag carrier. They said the company's performance continued to decline and blamed it on managerial problems.
