ooking for a way to kill time affordably in Bandung? A crayon workshop at Crayon’s Craft & Co is worth visiting, located on Jl. Aceh No.15, Babakan Ciamis, Sumur Bandung.

There, you can create food replicas or dummies and handicrafts. “We aim to give beneficial workshops to the public,” said Devi, Crayon’s Craft & Co’s production staff, to tempo.co on Thursday.

According to Devi, they provide courses for various handicrafts, as well as knitting and paper-based handicraft courses.

“Teenagers make up the majority of participants in food replica workshops, while adults usually take up knitting courses. They say it’s useful for stress release,” Devi said.

Workshop and course fees are Rp 200,000 (US$13.49), which include materials and tools, while the output will be kept by the participant.

Previously, Brotherwood Community in Bandung has also provided workshops to create wood furniture such as shelves, coat racks and crates. It was founded by Chairul Novin, who said Brotherwood offered wood products training on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (wng)
