According to a statement received by The Jakarta Post, the packages allow travelers to sail to and from Sumba Island and eliminate the necessity of taking domestic flights while exploring Sumba, Komodo Island and Bali.

There are three itineraries available, namely Komodo to Nihi Sumba, Nihi Sumba: Survey for mantas and Sumba to Bali, with a starting price of US$35,483 based on a minimum of seven nights, comprising a three-night stay on Rascal Voyages and four nights stay at the resort.

Komodo to Nihi Sumba is set to bring travelers from Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai regency, to the luxury resort. During the three-night journey, guests will also be able to visit Mount Agung, Gili Islands, Mount Rinjani, Gili Moyo and Komodo National Park.

Meanwhile, Nihi Sumba: Survey for mantas allows guests to survey the behaviors of manta rays while sailing from Komodo to Nihi Sumba.

As for Sumba to Bali, the package invites guests to board the phinisi at Sumba Island and cruise to Bali’s Benoa Harbor. During the journey, guests will be able to visit Komodo National Park and other interesting spots.

Nihi Hotels CEO James McBride said in a press release, “Each year at Nihi Sumba we strive to retain our position as one of the world’s most pioneering experiential travel destinations. By working with fresh and innovative new luxury travel companies such as Rascal Voyages, we are able to offer our guests more off-grid, boundary-pushing activities.” (jes/kes)
