In seeking to attract pet owners, Alila Anji in Zhejiang, China, famous for being the location of Oscar-winning movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, has announced a new policy that allows guests to bring along their dogs during their stay at no additional charge.
Such guests are welcomed to book a stay at the resort's Lake View or Hill View villas, which boast private terraces overlooking a lake or mountain, according to a statement.
The resort also partnered with lifestyle brand Zee.Dog to provide amenities such as pet food, water bowls and wet pads. A pet snacks menu will also be available, allowing guests to purchase treats such as dog chew bones.

“We are delighted to be collaborating with Zee.Dog to make Alila Anji a pet-friendly resort. In fact, we are officially the first pet-friendly Alila resort, where guests can look forward to a wonderful holiday with every member of the family, including their beloved furry companions,” said Alila Anji general manager Jack Widagdo.
Aiming to be "the perfect pet-friendly escape", the 66-hectare resort also provides mailbox-like pet litter stations on its grounds to allow guests to easily clean after their dogs while strolling the area. (vit/kes)
