President Prabowo to visit UAE

President Prabowo Subianto will visit the United Arab Emirates after his trip to Britain, his office said on Wednesday.

Prabowo is currently on an overseas tour that has included stops in China and the United States, and Peru and Brazil for the APEC and G20 summits respectively. He was headed to Britain on Wednesday to meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles, his office said.

Earlier this week, President Prabowo said he was planning to extend his current overseas tour to visit several Middle Eastern countries as he prepared to depart for his next stop, the United Kingdom.

"I am also trying to stop by the Middle East, several countries in the Middle East. We just have to see if the dates are suitable or not," the President said in a video message taken in Brazil and broadcast on Monday on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel (Sekretariat Presiden).

On Wednesday, Prabowo arrived in London is expected to attend CEO roundtable forum while in Britain.
