enedick Suharly, an Indonesian barber, has built a reputation in Hollywood’s entertainment industry, working with top artists and creatives. His journey began in Jakarta’s local barbershops, where he was drawn to the precision and artistry of grooming. Determined to master the craft, he pursued a professional barbering license in the United States, immersing himself in modern techniques and the evolving culture of men’s styling.

Suharly has collaborated with international artists, including recording artist Bazzi for his “Still Feel Like I’m Alone” music video. Tasked with designing a look that matched the video’s aesthetic, he had only 20 minutes on set to make critical styling decisions. His ability to balance technical precision with artistic vision has made him a trusted name in the industry.

Beyond his work in Hollywood, Suharly advocates for the global recognition of Indonesian barbers. He believes the country’s barbers possess exceptional skills but need stronger branding, communication and business strategies to compete internationally. Through mentorship and workshops, he aims to equip them with the tools to establish sustainable careers both locally and abroad.

From Jakarta to Hollywood, Suharly is redefining Indonesian grooming on a global stage, demonstrating that Indonesian craftsmanship can thrive in the world’s most competitive creative industries.
