A

head of its grand opening on Sept. 25, Suwarga Garden at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali sofficially entered its soft-opening phase on Aug. 10, introducing a new setting for weddings, gala dinners, product launches, corporate gatherings and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) events in the heart of Jimbaran.

Named after the Sanskrit word Suwarga (Heaven) the venue is built around the notion of: “Where  Every Moment Feels Like Heaven.” As opposed to a conventional ballroom alternative, Suwarga Garden brings together the resort’s hospitality with the beauty of an expansive tropical garden, creating a flexible setting where celebrations can unfold naturally.

Set across approximately 6,800 square meters, the venue can accommodate up to 1,250 guests across a  collection of distinctive outdoor and semi-outdoor spaces. These include The Banyan Court, Lawn  Courtyard, Cascading Lawn, Pavilion and Waterfall Court, each offering a different atmosphere while  remaining connected to the surrounding landscape.

At the heart of the garden is its seven-meter waterfall, adding movement and a sense of drama to the  setting. Elsewhere, open lawns provide room for larger celebrations, while the more intimate spaces lend  themselves to ceremonies, cocktail receptions and private gatherings.

The versatility is part of the appeal. A couple might arrive for a garden wedding beneath the tropical canopy,  while a brand could transform the same landscape into an elegant product launch. Corporate groups can  host conferences, gala dinners or incentive events, while social celebrations can flow from one space to another as the evening unfolds.

For Jan Kroeckel, general manager of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, Suwarga Garden represents  more than simply an expansion of the resort's event facilities. “This beautiful Wedding Garden is more than just a new venue. It is an additional facility that allows us to create even more memorable moments for our guests,” he said.

With the soft opening now underway, Suwarga Garden is ready to welcome celebrations and events ahead  of its official grand opening. Wedding planners, event organizers, corporate clients and prospective guests  can arrange private site inspections to experience the spaces in person and work with the resort’s events  team to create an occasion tailored to their needs.

The timing also places Suwarga Garden among the resort’s newest experiences as Mövenpick Resort &  Spa Jimbaran Bali continues to expand beyond the traditional resort stay, combining family-friendly hospitality, dining experiences and wellness offerings with a setting that makes it possible for guests to stay, celebrate and gather in one destination.
