The program provides support in business focus identification, basic business management, peer experience sharing, and onboarding to the SAPA UMKM platform as the first stage of assistance in the region.

The launch was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PNM’s Director and the Secretary of the Minister of MSMEs and witnessed by Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman, S.T. and Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf. The MoU provides a framework for both parties to synergize financing and empowerment programs for microentrepreneurs, including PKH beneficiaries under Laksmi 2026.

Through collaboration between the Ministry of MSMEs and PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), Laksmi aims to provide a more integrated pathway from assistance to sustainable microenterprise development. The initial launch reaches approximately 500 women microentrepreneurs, including 250 PNM customers.

The event was also attended by East Java Deputy Governor Emil Dardak, Ministry of MSMEs Secretary Loto Srinaita Ginting, Deputy for Microenterprise Riza Damanik, Deputy for Entrepreneurship M. Riza Damanik and Director General of Social Empowerment at the Ministry of Social Affairs Mira Riyati Kurniasih. PNM was represented by Deputy President Director Sunar Basuki.

In his keynote speech, Maman Abdurrahman highlighted the spirit of the program through the message of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 261, which describes the multiplication of benefits from giving and sharing.

“The message encourages mothers to have the spirit to share, strive and move from being recipients to becoming people who can help others. In line with the principle that giving is better than receiving, we hope KPM beneficiaries will have the confidence and determination to strengthen their independence and improve the welfare of their families,” said Maman Abdurrahman.

Sunar Basuki emphasized PNM’s strategic role in developing ultra-micro businesses through financing, mentoring, and empowerment.

“This cooperation is not merely a signing ceremony, but a foundation for translating the synergy between PNM and the Ministry of MSMEs into concrete and measurable programs for microentrepreneurs,” said Sunar Basuki.

The event also featured the provision of inclusive MSME facilitation and mentoring, including support through the Economic Sector Strengthening Program as well as PNM Mekaar and PNM ULaMM services.
