N

uanu, a creative nucleus in Tabanan, Bali, has established itself as a key destination for local and international travelers. From July 26-28, approximately 9,000 visitors from over 60 countries flocked to this dynamic district to attend Suara Festival 2024, a vibrant celebration of art, music, culture and wellness.

The festival, in its third year, also marked the soft opening of Nuanu, paving the way for future cultural exchanges and collaborations.

“Seeing Nuanu come alive with global creativity and energy during this year’s Suara Festival is truly inspiring,” Sergey Solonin, founder of Nuanu and cofounder of Suara Festival, said during an interview with The Jakarta Post on July 26.

“This event symbolizes our vision of creating a space where culture, art and communities thrive together.”

The festival featured over 100 artists on nine stages, with headliners including Australian indie folk duo Angus & Julia Stone, German electro trio Brandt Brauer Frick, Los Angeles-based electro dance duo Neil Frances and top Indonesian artists like Batavia Collective (BTVC) and rapper Ramengvrl.

“We adore [the festival’s] vibes,” Kenny Gabriel, bassist of BTVC, said after the band’s performance on July 27.

“The atmosphere allows everyone to blend in our music.”
