Kaesang may accompany wife on her study in US

President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's youngest son Kaesang Pangarep has told reporters he will go to the United States to accompany her wife during her master's program, despite speculation that he would run in the upcoming simultaneous regional elections.

aesang Pangarep, the youngest son of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, said he would accompany his wife Erina Gudono, who will go on a master’s degree program in the United States.

Posting on her Instagram account @erinagudono on Sunday, Erina announced that she would start her master’s program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, the US, in August, after receiving a partial scholarship from the university.

“The biggest thank you goes to my husband Mas Kaesang for supporting me in this process [...] and keeping your dreams in supporting me to go on a graduate study,” Erina wrote in her Instagram post. “Our children must be proud of having a father like you.

The couple is expecting their first child after they married in 2022.
