earch and rescue (SAR) workers were still working on Monday to find a Brazilian hiker who fell on Mt. Rinjani over the weekend some 200 meters down to the volcano's caldera.

Identified as JDSP, the female climber fell on Saturday morning around Cemara Nunggal point, on the track leading to Mt. Rinjani summit in a trip with 12 other climbers.

SAR workers continued their search manually on Monday using ropes and a thermal drone.

Mt. Rinjani is an active volcano, located in East Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara, with a height of 3,726 meters.

The victim fell toward Segara Anak Lake around Cemara Nunggal at about 6:30 a.m. local time on Saturday. Initially, she was reportedly in good condition after falling, Antara news agency reported.
