hether you're a Disney movie fan or not so much, you've probably listened to or even enjoyed at least one of these soundtracks from the company's many animated films.

Since we are here to inspire, check out our list of some of Disney's best soundtracks to sing along to.

Aladdin (1992)

Become a street rat like Aladdin and go on a magic carpet ride as you sing along to songs that make you want to run away from the guards with "One Jump Ahead", or even strut in a parade in "Prince Ali". Meet your best friend, who just happens to be a genie, and sing "Friend Like Me", which was performed by the late Robin Williams. Slow it down later in the evening as you sing the duet "A Whole New World" with your significant other half.

This album is reportedly one of the best-selling soundtrack albums for animated film, with more than 2.48 million copies sold in the US as of April 2014. It also resulted in noted Disney composer Alan Menken being nominated and winning several awards at the 1993 Academy Awards and the 36th Grammy Awards in 1994.

The Little Mermaid (1989)

Dive into the beautiful ocean of Atlantica, home to mermaids and aquatic creatures, and enjoy liberating freedom with "Under the Sea". It's a party in the water to swim around, but if you're yearning to walk on land in search for love like Ariel, join in by singing "Part of Your World". When you’re feeling evil like Ursula, you might want to help those "Poor Unfortunate Souls". Feeling romantic instead? Get your friends to help you with a slow song called "Kiss the Girl'

Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel, still sings the famous "Part of Your World" at Disney events. This soundtrack was also recognized by the Academy and Grammy awards in 1989.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)

If you don’t feel like you belong and want to be adventurous, get out of your "Little Town (Belle)" like the girl who usually has her "nose stuck in a book",  Belle. When you’re feeling French and famished, sing along with a clock and candle stick to "Be Our Guest". If you’re feeling sparks for a significant other, then maybe there’s "Something There", then you can slow it down for a waltz with the titular song "Beauty and the Beast" in a candle-lit ballroom.

Alan Menken returned to compose the music for the soundtrack, with Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson having their own rendition of "Beauty and the Beast" as the soundtrack won three Grammy awards.

The Lion King (1994)

This fun and heartwarming movie is filled with adventure, sorrow and action that its songs complement the entire musical movie. Renowned Elton John features in a few songs of the soundtrack. It won Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards as well as Grammy Awards in 1994. It is also the best-selling soundtrack album to an animated film in the US with over 7 million copies sold.

Everybody knows the opening sequence of "Circle of Life" as it’s something you belt out as the sun rises while animals appear to be present for Simba’s birth; it’s fun because people usually say gibberish when trying to sing the African verse. When you’re feeling rebellious, sing "I Just Can’t Wait to Be King", or when you’re feeling evil, be like Scar and sing "Be Prepared", but when you’re just chilling in a lush environment, there "ain’t no worries, for the rest of your days" as you sing "Hakuna Matata" with your best friends. Slow the pace when you’re feeling in love with "Can You Feel the Love Tonight", especially Elton John’s version, which gives the song that extra special glow.

Frozen (2013)

Last, the more recent Disney musical movie with a winter feel is the 2013 animated film Frozen. Every child in the world knows the words to almost every song in this soundtrack as it’s filled with joy and fun in the snow. Even with a plot so dark, all the songs are very lively. The album has also been certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Ask your friends if they want to build a snowman, express every emotion from the different ages Anna was shown, and enjoy the karaoke of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" Embody the Princess of Arendelle as she ventures out of her castle "For the First Time in Forever" and enjoy the summer; even Olaf would enjoy the heat as he sang a list of what he would do "In Summer". When you’re feeling lovey dovey, sometimes "Love is An Open Door", but be careful if your significant other half turns out to be like Hans of the Southern Isles. Or maybe sometimes you want to just run away to the mountains and start singing "Let It Go" with Idina Menzel's or Demi Lovato’s versions. (kha/kes)
