The survey, conducted between August 2015 and January 2017, involved 86,000 employees from different industries countrywide. Stress levels were examined based on the employees' own assessments of their work-life balance.
Based on the research, employees with an average work-life balance score of 3.0 and below were placed in the high-stress category, while those who obtained 3.5 and above were categorized as having low-stress jobs.
Jobplanet chief product officer Kemas Antonius said in a press release that work-life balance was associated with an employee’s ability to face work pressure without eliminating other aspects of their life. “High pressure and workload [increase] the employee’s stress levels,” he said. (kes)
