Eight Indonesian startups to join CeBIT Australia

The Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) is bringing eight Indonesian startups to participate at the business technology event CeBIT Australia in Sydney, Australia, on May 15 to 17.

he Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) is bringing eight Indonesian startups to participate at the business technology event CeBIT Australia in Sydney, Australia, from May 15 to 17.

"Bekraf is cooperating with the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center [ITPC] Sydney to provide the Indonesian pavilion titled 'Archipelageek' for the delegations," said Bekraf Deputy IV marketing division, Joshua Puji Mulia Simandjuntak, in a statement on Thursday, as quoted by Antara.

Among the participating startups are online language learning service Squline, hospital management software provider Medico, mobile marketing campaign 8Villages Indonesia, hardware and software developer Nicslab, data management platform Yava-Solusi 247, expense management solution Jojonomic, cloud-based ERP provider Ukirama and small, medium enterprise solution provider Metabuilders (Merakyat.co).

These startups will receive briefings on how best to enter the Australian market and will conduct business matching with other businesspeople attending the event. They are also expected to collaborate with international technology industry players to further support the growing startup ecosystem in Indonesia. (kes)
