Japanese-based virtual duo EGOIST is set to entertain fans in Singapore in September.
Japanese virtual duo EGOIST is set to perform in Singapore for its second solo concert on Sept. 8 at Zepp@BIGBOX.
Initially formed as a fictional band to provide theme music for anime Guilty Crown, Egoist is known for utilizing motion-capture technology and LED screens during its performances. Its vocalist chelly never reveals her face and regularly performs under the Inori Yuzuriha persona, one of the Guilty Crown characters. Meanwhile, the duo’s producer and composer, ryo from Japanese pop band supercell, stays behind the scenes.

Tickets to the show are available online comprising VVIP, VIP (reserved seat) and GA (standing) categories, with prices starting at S$98 (US$71). The VVIP tickets reportedly sold out in just five minutes after going on sale.
Egoist has performed songs for other anime titles, such as Psycho-Pass and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. The duo is scheduled to perform at the I LOVE ANISONG stage of the 2018 C3 Anime Festival Asia (AFA) in Jakarta, slated from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2.
