Idul Fitri is synonymous with family gatherings that involve a lot of food.

The typical Idul Fitri lunch features high-calorie food, such as ketupat (rice cake), opor ayam (chicken braised in coconut milk) and beef rendang.

With that in mind, online food directory Traveloka Eats, which is part of online travel agent Traveloka, has compiled a list of restaurants in Jakarta that serve healthy meals suitable for Idul Fitri.

Traveloka public relations director Sufintri Rahayu said in a press release, “We are here to help Muslims to enjoy a variety of delicious and healthy dishes with their beloved family. We hope that our recommendations will make an unforgettable Eid Holiday.”

Curious? Below are five healthy restaurants in Jakarta where you can celebrate Idul Fitri.

Burgreens Oakwood Kuningan

Burgreens is a pioneer vegetarian restaurant in Jakarta.

Recently, the eatery opened a new branch in Oakwood Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Featuring an al fresco dining area, you can sample the restaurant’s signature dishes, such as the vegan rendang platter, barley quinoa bowl and Burgreens steaks, while breathing the rare Jakarta clean air.

Big groups can also have a healthy lunch at a communal table located inside the restaurant.
