The poster highlights the film's female cast members, namely Tara Basro, Marissa Anita and Asmara Abigail. It also features senior actress Christine Hakim who, according to a statement, never before acted in a horror flick throughout her five-decade career.
"Most of the filming was done in a village that was very isolated and inaccessible. The production team had to make a path to be able to enter the village. Due to the difficult terrain, the entire crew and cast members had to stay in the village throughout the filming. [Fortunately] the villagers warmly welcomed us, even cooked every day for us. The team later built bathrooms and toilets for them to use," shared Joko regarding the filming process.
Set to be screened on Oct. 17, other actors involved in the movie are Ario Bayu, Kiki Narendra, Tengku Rifnu, Zidni Hakim, Faradina Mufti, Abdurahman Arif, Mian Tiara, Eka Nusa Pertiwi, Aghniny Haque, Arswendy Bening Swara, Ramadhan Al Rasyid and Ical Tanjung.
A teaser trailer for the film is expected to be released on Aug. 8. (sal/kes)
