In February, Art Moments Jakarta had 50 confirmed participating galleries of modern and contemporary art. Highlighted galleries included Tokyo-based gallery Whitestone Gallery, carrying the works of Japanese artists Yayoi Kusama and Yoshitomo Nara, and Bandung-based ArtSociates.

It targeted 20,000 visitors over the three-day event, and was set to take up the theme “Yesterday Since Tomorrow”, referring to a sense of time travel.

Founded by Leo Silitonga, Art Moments Jakarta was first held in 2019 and aims to be a platform for art enthusiasts and the public at large to witness and get engaged in the growing Indonesian art scene. (wng)
