'Guru-Guru Gokil' audio series released prior to movie

All of the actors involved in the audio series record their parts at their homes while communicating via Zoom.

A

n audio series that serves as a preview of the upcoming movie Guru-Guru Gokil (Crazy Teachers) has been released by BASE Entertainment.

The audio series, which tells the story of main character Taat Pribadi, was released on Monday via iRadio Network in six cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung in West Java, Yogyakarta, Makassar in South Sulawesi, Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan and Medan in North Sumatra. 

It is also available on the Instagram, YouTube and Spotify accounts of BASE Entertainment. 

Eight episodes are available in the audio series, narrating Taat Pribadi’s story as a teacher trying to survive in a big city.

The audio series features actors Gading Martin, Dian Sastrowardoyo, Arswendy Bening Swara, Faradina Mufti, Boris Bokir, Kevin Ardilova, Ibnu Jamil, Asri Welas and Shakira Jasmine. All actors recorded their parts at their homes while communicating via Zoom.

The audio series was designed to offer an alternative form of entertainment for families staying at home during the pandemic.

The upcoming movie is the first of three that will be made by BASE Entertainment in collaboration with Dian Sastrowardoyo, regarded as one of the most popular actors in the country. (gis/wng)
