Glenn, who made a successful solo career for himself after leaving fusion jazz group Funk Section -- in which he played with renowned jazz guitarist Mus Mudjiono -- with a number of hits including Cukup Sudah (Enough) and Januari, is one of the regular performers at the annual jazz festival.
He performed at the first Java Jazz Festival in 2005 and collaborated with other musicians, such as Yovie Widianto, in the same festival in 2006 and 2007.
"Pak Peter (Gontha) asked me to perform again this year. This (will be) the second time I've had my own stage at Java Jazz," he said. -- JP/Ary Hermawan
