Kokoski himself seems to have an agenda - that of extreme Christian fundamentalists who sift everything through the sieve of the Holy Scripture. Kokoski creates a straw man by portraying Obama as a prophet, but Obama is merely a politician promising change.
So far Obama is delivering change from the Christian conservative Bush regime to that of a more socially enlightened one following the track of modern science.

Yoga and religious essentialism -- Jan. 30, p. 6

Quite clearly Muhammad Ali has missed the point in the MUI's issuing of the fatwa regarding the practice of yoga that involves Hindu chants. I gather by Ali's name that he is Muslim. The answer is shirk. Since any practice undertaken by a Muslim that involves invoking others besides Allah constitutes shirk, how can one justify a Muslim undertaking a practice that in fact involves the participant invoking others besides Allah?
