EMBER: A number of residents and dozens of NGOs staged a rally Monday to support the planned mining of iron ore in Paseban village, Kencong district, Jember regency, in East Java.
"There is nothing negative about the mining activity," supporter Kustiono said at the rally in front of the Jember Trade and Industry Agency office, urging the agency to issue a permit for the mining.
