AKARTA: Actress Sophia Latjuba said that for the time being, she would remain in Los Angeles, the US, where her daughter Eva Celia is studying performing arts.

“I don’t think far ahead. I think day by day. What is certain is that my children want to go to school there. Eva likes it there; it’s not hot,” the 41-year-old actress said as quoted by Tribunnews.com on Tuesday.

Sophia, who came to Jakarta for the Kidung Abadi Chrisye concert, said she would return to LA at the end of the month. Her activities in LA mostly involve taking care of her children and household chores.

In October last year, her American husband Michael A. Villareal twittered that he would divorce Sophia, with whom he has a child. Eva is her daughter from a previous marriage to Indonesian jazz musician Indra Lesmana.
