As politicians from the older generation call for the strengthening of the state ideology Pancasila, members of the younger generation believe the sanctified five principles have failed to address the country's problems.
Fransisca Perwitasari, an 18-year-old student from Atma Jaya Catholic University, said that the government had failed to be led by the five principles when dealing with problems, especially those affecting the poor.
'Let's take the fifth principle, social justice for all the people, as an example. Do you think that the country's poor have justice?' Fransisca said.
Your comments:
The prosperity, justice and democracy we enjoy now are fruits of Pancasila.
With Pancasila we get wisdom, insight and knowledge. Why should we not stick to Pancasila? Pancasila is the source of the laws we uphold. Go back to Pancasila!

Allowing hard-liners to express their refusal to accept Pancasila openly has contributed to the skepticism: the goal of the hard-line effort.
If the government really wants Pancasila as practical day-to-day values, it must ban hard-line organizations.

In America we face many of these same questions. There are forces that use isolation to control your thoughts and dreams.
Whenever the advocates of diversity are shut down then media and corporations tend to put people in imaginary boxes and people become shut off from the world.
One can choose not to live with isolation. Hang on to all that motivates reaching out. The rewards are wonderful.
