resenter Indra Herlambang likes to put books in many places: in his car, bag and in the bathroom.
That way, whenever the mood takes him, he can just pick up a book and start.
Indra said he liked to use money as a bookmark because he always lost other bookmarks. He sometimes puts Rp 1,000 (9 US cents), Rp 20,000 or Rp 50,000 notes in the book and it always comes as a surprise if he opens an old book and found money in it.
'I prefer to use money as bookmark because I don't want to fold the page,' said the author of Kicau Kacau (Chaotic Chirping).
The former radio DJ said his interest in reading began when he was a boy, thanks to his parents, who were also bookworms. He said they often took him to bookstores and usually gave him books as birthday gifts.
'When I was 16, my parents gave me 10 Stephen King books. I was very happy!' the 38-year-old said.
Besides being busy as the host of a television infotainment program, Indra is also working on his fourth movie script and his second book. He was the screenwriter of Mereka Bilang, Saya Monyet! (They Say I'm a Monkey), Rectoverso and Waktu Aku sama Mika (When I'm with Mika).
Indra said he enjoyed reading because it allowed him to travel without moving while gathering knowledge and widening his views at the same time.

The series has two books: Raras dan Teman-temannya (Raras and Her Friends) and Raras Jalan-jalan (Raras Hangs Out). I love the series very much because the books have taught me the power of a big imagination.
The Power of Now
by Eckhart Tolle
The book is like a spiritual book that helps oneself find his or her true self. The Power of Now is amazing, it teaches me to love and respect the present ' the here and now.
David Sedaris' books
This man is a comedian, a great author and also a radio personality. I really like his books because they inspire me how to make light, funny but deep writings.
Everything is Illuminated
by Jonathan Safran Foer
This book is about the Holocaust and I have read it many times. I like the layer of the story and I always find something new in the story anytime I re-read it.
