JAKARTA: After a hiatus of several years, singer Pinkan Mambo is back in the music industry ' sort of.

A picture of her singing on the street went viral on the Internet, kapanlagi.com reported on Thursday.

Pinkan, a former member of the duo Ratu, was spotted with a microphone on Hollywood's Walk of Fame in Los Angeles in the US, along with a DJ.

The 33-year-old sang next to a sign saying: 'Your donations help my music career until I got [sic] sign. God bless you. Thanks. Pinkan Mambo'.

Pinkan, who relocated to the US with her son after marrying Steve Wantania, an Indonesian-born music video director working in California, could not be reached for comment.
