Indonesian shuttlers bagged four gold medals at the 2014 Asian Paragames in in Incheon, South Korea, on Thursday.

Indonesian badminton players bagged the gold medals in the men's singles event of SL4 (standing lower 4) group, the men's singles event of (standing lower 3) group, the mixed doubles event of SL3.4/SU5 (standing upper 5) group, and the men's doubles event of SL3-4 group.

In the men's singles event of the SL4 group, Indonesia's Fredy Setiawan beat India's Tarun 22-20, 21-16 while Ukun Rukaendi outplayed Manoi Sarkar of India 21-14, 21-15 in the SL3 group of the men's singles event.

In the mixed doubles event of SL 3.4/SU5, Fredy Setiawan played with Leani Ratri Oktila to defeat Indian duo Rai Kumar/Parol Datsukhbhai Parmar 21-14,21-15.

Indonesia secured another gold medal from the men's doubles event of SL3-4, which saw an all Indonesia final between Hery Susanto/Ukun Rukaendi and Dwiyoko/Fredy Setiawan. Hery/Ukun outscored Dwiyoko/Fredy 21-15,21-13.

Unfortunately, Indonesia's Karma Dwi Listiyanto lost to Hou Cheah Liek of Malaysia 8-21, 11-21 in the men's singles final of group SU5.

Ukun Rukaendi said he was proud to contribute two gold medals to the Indonesian contingent.

'I am proud of achieving my gold medal target. The gold medals are dedicated to Indonesia,' he said as quoted by Antara newswire.
