AKARTA: Anggun will sing a song for the soundtrack of Ifa Isfansyah's upcoming martial-arts action film Pendekar Tongkat Emas (The Golden Cane Warrior),

Music for the song, titled 'Fly, My Eagle', was arranged by Erwin Gutawa and written by Mira Lesmana, who is the film's producer.

Mira said Anggun was chosen for the song for her powerful voice.

'The film has to be represented by someone with strong vocal character,' Mira said, as quoted by Antara.

'The movie has many dramatic scenes and I think a ballad will represent it better; the emotion in this movie is very deep.
