Actor Chicco Jerikho will play in a radio drama, entitled Ramadhan di Atas Awan (Ramadhan Above the Clouds), set to air on Gen FM, throughout the fasting month.
'It's very different to what I usually do in film as everything in a radio drama has to be done through voice,' he said as quoted by kompas.com.
In the series that will tell stories about family, music and love, Chicco will play the owner of a recording company.
The Citra Award winner said he was glad he could feature in the series as it was a good opportunity to improve his acting skills. 'This is my first radio series and it's a good time to develop my skill,' Chicco said.
He added that in the beginning, he had still used a lot of body language, but gradually he had gotten used to using only his voice to act.
