tarring in movies and performing on stage are not enough for actor and singer Bastian Bintang Simbolon, aka Bastian Steel.
The 16-year-old says he aspires to become a filmmaker.
“I shoot videos on my phone or handy cam and edit them,” Bastian said as quoted by kompas.com.
He admitted that his interest in the movie industry had been gaining pace in recent months since he starred as young BJ Habibie in the movie Rudy Habibie.
With that dream in mind, Bastian is hoping to study film-making.
“If I study overseas, I’ll not work for a while. If I stay here, I’ll try to balance [work and study],” he added.
