AKARTA: Actress Sandra Dewi and husband businessman Harvey Moeis held their wedding party in Tokyo Disneyland, Japan, on Monday.
The couple tied the knot at the Jakarta Cathedral in Central Jakarta on Nov. 8.
Held at the Cinderella Castle, the wedding reception in Tokyo used Disney Fairy Tales as its theme. Sandra said having a wedding at the Tokyo Disneyland was her dream.
“Both Harvey and me wanted to hold our dream wedding in Jakarta and Japan. Harvey wanted us to get married at the Cathedral, which was done. Now it’s my turn to realize my dream in Japan. We try to make our wedding dreams come true together,” she said in a statement made available to kompas.com.
The wedding was aired live in the Facebook Bridestory account. Editor in chief of Bridestory, Ayunda Wardhani, said the wedding in Japan used the concept of winter, Sandra’s favorite season. — JP
