ormer JKT48 girlband member Nabilah Ratna Ayu Azalia is balancing university and activities in the entertainment industry. After leaving the band last year, Nabilah pursued a solo career as singer and actress.
“It is quite challenging [to manage time] because I am doing both [study and entertainment career],” Nabilah, who studies law at Pelita Harapan University (UPH), told kompas.com.
She admitted that she sometimes felt overwhelmed by her packed schedule. But she refuses to give up.
“At one point, I felt so overwhelmed that I wanted to home-school instead. But the fans supported me to pursue formal education. And I intend to do just that as long as I can,” she said.
Nabilah, who stars in the upcoming horror flick Mata Batin 2 (The Sixth Sense 2), always tries to attend class no matter how tired or busy she is.
“My campus is very strict on attendance. Therefore, I always attend class although I feel so tired after filming,” she added.
