andung Police have confirmed a report of a man allegedly raping a therapist working for Go-Massage, a service provided by app-based services company Go-Jek.
Bandung Police crime unit head Adj. Sr. Comr. Moh. Rifai said the therapist, identified only as L, had reported the incident to police on Wednesday, saying she had been raped by a customer at a room in a boarding house on Tuesday evening.
“L said she was raped after giving the man a back massage,” Rifai said on Monday, as quoted by kompas.com.
He said further that the man denied the accusation.
“The man told police that they liked each other,” Rifai said.

The police, Rifai said, were waiting for the results of L’s medical examination and looking for other witnesses. (das)
