An earthquake of magnitude 7 struck Indonesia's island of Sulawesi on Friday, the United States Geological Survey said.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the quake, which hit 280 kilometers south of the province of Gorontalo at a depth of 43 kilometers, the agency added.
