App-based bike-sharing service GoWes has expanded its service to several parking spots on Jl. MH Thamrin in Central Jakarta.
Previously, residents could only try the bike-sharing service for free at the National Momument (Monas) in Central Jakarta.
"Our expansion preparations have reached 100 percent since early in the morning. Dozens of GOWES bikes and e-scooters [electric scooters] are now ready and for free," the company said on Monday via its Twitter account @gowesbikeshari1.
The bikes and scooters are available at parking spots near Sinar Mas Land Plaza, Wisma Kasgoro, Pullman Hotel, Bundaran HI MRT Station, The Plaza building and Plaza Indonesia.
Sejak dini hari kesiapan GOWES sudah 100%, GOWES Bike & Escooter Sharing tersedia puluhan dan GRATIS.

To use the vehicles, users need to download the GoWes app on the Android Play Store or iOS App Store, where they can unlock the bikes and scooters for rent, currently free of charge.
