Desperate times for KPK

Rescuing the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from political power plays is undoubtedly tiring and frustrating for many. The past few days have seen the hopes for a future, uncompromising anticorruption drive suffer a dreadful blow, ironically at the hands of our elected representatives. Not only have those in the political elite turned a deaf ear to the strident clamor against the maneuvering to undermine the antigraft body through amendments to the KPK Law.
