NE Championship’s upcoming card is chocked full of intriguing battles, from the ONE flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix quarterfinals to the two Muay Thai world championships up for grabs in the evening’s headlining bouts.
ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs. Vienot, which goes down on Friday, May 20, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, also features the return of much-loved stars like Indonesia’s own Elipitua “The Magician” Siregar, Garry “The Lion Killer” Tonon and Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak.
The evening's main event sees ONE Featherweight Muay Thai world champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee making his third world title defense against French striking phenom Jimmy Vienot, who hopes to cause a major upset in his ONE debut.
The co-main will feature ONE Strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK.Saenchai, who defends his strap against Italian-Moroccan powerhouse Joseph “The Hurricance” Lasiri. Lasiri has been inching toward a ONE world title shot for several years — but he will have his work cut out for him when he faces the Thai dynamo, who has more than 300 fights to his name.
Additionally, the opening round of the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix also takes place that night, with divisional king Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon set to take on debutant Jacob Smith, while Jonathan “The General” Haggerty faces Walter Goncalves. Superlek Kiatmoo9 also battles Taiki “Silent Sniper” Naito, and Savvas “The Baby Face Killer” Michael will come up against Amir Naseri.

In mixed martial arts (MMA) action, Muay Thai sensation Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak makes her long-awaited debut in MMA against India’s Zeba Bano, while Elipitua Siregar returns to settle his unfinished business with Filipino Robin Catalan.
Teen Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu stars the Ruotolo brothers also make their ONE debuts, as Kade faces Shinya Aoki and Tye challenges Garry Tonon in submission-grappling matches on the evening's main card.
With world titles on the line, quarterfinal Grand Prix action going down and debuts across the evening, ONE 157 is simply unmissable.
