Three reasons why you shouldn’t miss Lee Versus Abbasov at ONE Fight Night 4 Christian Lee.

ONE Championship’s upcoming live spectacle is set to be headlined by a fascinating battle between two world champions.

Lightweight king Christian Lee has eyes on two-division glory when he moves up a division to challenge ONE Welterweight World Champion Kiamrian Abbasov at ONE Fight Night 4 on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Singaporean-American's record speaks for itself, but Abbasov has made it clear that it won’t count for much when Lee enters his weight class, so this has all the makings of a classic.

Here, we break down three reasons why no combat sports fan should miss the ONE Fight Nigh 4 headliner on Nov. 19.

Lee hunts for ‘champ-champ’ status

“The Warrior” has accomplished many things in ONE since his debut in 2015. The 24-year-old was at one point the youngest male fighter to ever win an MMA World Title, he is the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Champion, and he is a five-time ONE Light World Champion.

All that’s left for his prestigious resume is a second World Title.

Should he snatch Abbasov's welterweight crown, Lee will join an elite group of ONE athletes who have held two belts simultaneously, alongside fighters like Martin Nguyen and Aung La N Sang.

But “Brazen” will do everything in his power to prevent that from happening, and Lee doesn’t take no for an answer, so their match is going to be a barnburner.

Abbasov’s wrestling will be tested by Lee’s BJJ

“Brazen” holds many keys to victory in his pocket in this World Title tussle, including his Greco-Roman wrestling background and vast grappling skills. His ground game has helped him rise to the top of the welterweight division, leaving warriors like Zebaztian Kadestam and James Nakashima in his wake.

But the Krgyz superstar will have a difficult opponent on his plate when he comes face-to-face with Lee, who holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has earned multiple wins by first-round submission.

So, fans can expect a war on the ground to go down when these two meet.

Not only should the viewing public expect a grappling masterclass to play out in the main event of ONE Fight Night 4 next week, but they would also be wise to put their money on it ending before the final bell.

Both Lee and Abbasov have shown time and again that they have knockout power. Abbasov has hard-hitting hands that have helped him rack up 11 KO/TKOs in his 23 wins, and in the Circle alone he has a 75 percent finishing rate.

Lee also has 11 victories by KO/TKO, and he has a 94 percent finishing rate that has come against some of the toughest athletes in ONE, including Shinya Aoki and Dagi Arslanaliev.

If fans want to witness a highlight-reel finish inside the ONE Circle, this is the fight to watch.
