Certain connecting roads in South Lampung regency, Lampung, appear to still be damaged despite President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s visit last year, following a viral video showing the worsening condition of the roads in the Sumatra’s southernmost province.
Following the shock departure of Bambang Soesantono and Dhony Rahajoe from their position as head and deputy head of the Nusantara capital, President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo appointed Basuki to serve as person in charge of the IKN Authority on an interim basis.
The mosque, which can accommodate 61,000 worshipers, will be constructed in the complex designated for places of worship for all faiths in the country. The Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority plans to also build a church and cathedral, and Buddhist, Hindu and Chinese temples on the site.
In a presidential regulation (Perpres) issued recently, President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has given authority to the Public Works and Housing Ministry to carry out the VVIP airport project, and has ordered the Transportation Ministry to be in charge of the airport's operations.
