FFI uses multiple platforms to engage, educate future filmmakers
Under the main theme Film Bagus, Citra Indonesia (Quality Film, Indonesia’s Images), which will be used until next year, the 2019 FFI also collaborated with the Education and Culture Ministry, Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) and the Indonesia Film Board (BPI) to encourage both established and aspiring filmmakers to produce films that could meet international standards.

'Pengabdi Setan', 'Night Bus' dominate 2017 FFI Awards
Joko Anwar’s remake of horror classic Pengabdi Setan (Satan’s Slaves) and Emil Heradi’s dark thriller Night Bus dominated the competition at the 2017 Indonesian Film Festival Awards in Manado, North Sulawesi, winning the most awards of the night.
