Meanwhile, a young talent, Ruselli Hartawan, who showed potential in three international tournaments throughout 2019 by reaching their quarterfinals, also had to pack her bags early after losing to Michelle Li of Canada 21-14, 21-15.
The atmosphere during the mixed doubles’ semifinal match between Indonesia’s Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir and Malaysia’s Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying at the 2019 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters on Saturday was joyous – with all four players smiling after the match ended.
