Participants of the online KKN program will focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing tourism in villages, strengthening people’s finances and preparing village communities ahead of the so-called new normal period.
The Constitutional Law Society (CLS), the student community that organized the discussion, said the event, scheduled for Friday, was meant to be a response to recent public discussions about the possibility of dismissing the President for what some perceive as his inadequate handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.
A team of students from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta has won first place at the International Invention & Innovative Competition, an event initiated by Malaysian event management company MNNF Network.
UGM communications and politics expert Kuskridho Ambardi expressed concern that the current data provided by the central government could be underplaying the severity of the outbreak, which could also affect the public’s response.
“The larger family of UGM are mourning over Iwan’s passing today since he was one of the best pharmacology experts in Indonesia,” said UGM rector Panut Mulyono during the funeral on Tuesday.
