Pertamina's Balikpapan refinery produces green diesel fuel
A refinery owned by Pertamina in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, has produced the environmentally friendly Dex High Quality (PertaDex HQ) diesel fuel, which has a maximum sulfur content of 50 parts per million (ppm), the state-owned energy company said.

Amid the increasing trend of global oil prices, state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina has urged the government to increase the price of subsidized diesel, known locally as Solar, in 2017 to avoid further losses from the sales of the product.
