A number of visitors to the National Monument (Monas) were disappointed on Friday after being denied entry to the building by the management, citing restrictions on the number of people who could use the elevator to get to the peak of the Central Jakarta landmark.
Many tourist attractions await the thousands of visitors flocking to Jakarta's Kota Tua (old town) area during these Idul Fitri holidays. Not only do the visitors get to go to museums, they can also have their photograph taken with Sukarno or a Chinese princess from centuries ago.
