Flat parking rates around GBK sports stadium for Asian Games
The Jakarta administration has promised to provide parking spaces with flat fees for residents wishing to watch the Asian Games, through cooperation with the management of 79 buildings near Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sporting complex in Central Jakarta.

Motorcyclist fined Rp 500,000 for parking on City Council sidewalk
The Jakarta Transportation Agency towed 16 motorcycles that were parked on sidewalks in front of the Jakarta Council in Central Jakarta during celebrations for the city’s 491st anniversary. Each motorcyclist will be fined Rp 500,000 (US$35.49).

Asian Games committee wants House compound for parking lot
As the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sports stadium complex in Central Jakarta and its surrounding areas, except Jl. Sudirman, will be closed for the Asian Games opening ceremony, the committee has requested that the nearby House of Representatives compound be used as a parking venue during the event.

Motorists allowed to use audiovisual components while parked
Following its new plan to criminalize the act of listening to music and radio while driving, the Jakarta Police said motorists would be allowed to listen to music or use audiovisual components when their vehicles are completely parked.
