View all search resultsThe Jakarta administration has stressed that the Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) had never offered individual honorariums to the thousands of Ratoh Jaroe dancers who performed in the spectacular opening ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games, which ran from Aug. 18 to Sept. 2.
Reports have circulated recently saying that dancers performing the Ratoh Jaroe dance during the 2018 Asian Games opening ceremony on Aug. 18 at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium have not yet received payment a month after the event took place.
