he Tourism Ministry's Atambua Adventure Off-Road 2017, scheduled from April 22 to April 23, is a cross-border activity to be joined by 100 cars and 400 participants, 100 of which will come from Timor Leste. They will tour the border regions that separate Timor Leste and Indonesia.
The main event will take place place in Atambua, the capital city of Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, and the second largest city in Timor Island.

The starting point on day one will be located at Simpang Lima Atambua field. The route then heads to Mauhalek Waterfall, Fulan Fehan valley and Benteng Ranu Hitu before going through the border highlands between Indonesia and Timor Leste in the Lamaknen and South Lamaknen districts.
Day two begins in Naekasa village and heads to Kakuluk Mesak district and Timor Tengah Utara (TTU) regency before returning to Simpang Lima field in Atambua for the closing ceremony. (asw)
