eong Saik in Singapore is known for its lively atmosphere, and this time, a new boutique hotel is ready to take things to another level with the fusion of old and new.
Hotel Soloha, which is housed in one of Chinatown's restored heritage buildings, charms with its calming white and blue facade. On the contrary, visitors are greeted by a neon jungle decor and vibrant art displays at the reception area, which doubles as a Technicolor bar.
Josh Hu, founder of Hotel Soloha, said in a statement that his desire for adventure and creative expression created the dream that is Hotel Soloha. As for Keong Saik, he describes it as a characteristically distinct destination for residents and international jet setters alike.
“We wish to be part of the [Keong Saik] scene and contribute to its character and personality, creating a vibrant Technicolor dream space where guests would feel comfortable,” Hu said.
Hotel Soloha houses 45 rooms in five different categories, featuring custom-made furnishings, Smart Cable TVs and smart room control units to enable guests to adjust lights and the air-conditioning with a press of a button.

Touring the hotel, guests may feast on its artistic concept, starting from bold-colored walls that juxtapose earthy, tropical elements such as palm leaves, as well as artwork comprising interpretations of four tropical rainforest layers, painted on eight individual panels in the lift shaft.
The deluxe rooms start from U$250++ per night. With its close vicinity to popular lifestyle spots like Potato Head Singapore, The Guild, Gaston and more, Hotel Soloha is likely to become a trendy spot for both travelers and residents of the city, especially the young generation. (ran/mut)
