But bringing home good photos as keepsakes or to be shared on social media is another. Hundreds of thousands of people, therefore, have booked professional photographers to ensure that the most precious moments of their trips are well-captured.
In the past few years, booking photographers in your travel destination has been made easier by on-demand photography platforms such as SweetEscape and Frame a Trip. Popular among Indonesian travelers, the platforms offer a booking process as easy as opening a smartphone app for SweetEscape, or logging in to a website in the case of Frame a Trip.

David Soong, founder and CEO of SweetEscape, told The Jakarta Post that looking for the right photographer could be time and energy-consuming.

A simplified process and appealing results have driven travelers to use the service, resulting in significant growth since SweetEscape’s launch in 2017. Among hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide, the biggest numbers come from Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and the United States, according to David.
