ndonesian air travelers are in luck as Sriwijaya Air Group has just announced an additional free baggage allowance (FBA) for long-haul flights starting on Jan. 10.
Previously offering them for flights during 2019’s year-end holiday season, both Sriwijaya Air and NAM Air – airlines under the Sriwijaya Air Group – have increased their FBAs to 20 kilograms for jet aircraft and 10 kg for ATR aircraft (propeller planes).

“This is an answer to customer requests over time that larger baggage allowances are needed. Hopefully this program can add to the convenience of Sriwijaya Air Group’s customers,” said Adi Willi, the company’s vice president corporate secretary, in a statement.
“Customers needing additional prepaid baggage at a lower price can contact Sriwijaya Air’s sales office, travel agencies, its official website or Sriwijaya Air’s smartphone apps.” (vel/kes)
